Petrolube Advances Energy Efficiency Across Jeddah and Riyadh

Petrolube Oil Company has successfully commissioned its Energy Monitoring System (EMS) across its Jeddah and Riyadh plants, strengthening its focus on operational excellence, sustainability and cost optimization.
At the Jeddah plant, the EMS was fully designed and implemented in house by the plant team and is now operational across all 10 MCCs and critical equipment. Since launching its energy optimization initiative in January 2025, the plant has achieved a 25% reduction in power consumption through real time monitoring and data driven energy management.
At the Riyadh plant, the EMS has been deployed across four main MCCs and 24 subdivisions, enhancing energy monitoring, performance tracking and operational decision making.
This achievement reflects Petrolube’s commitment to operational innovation and establishes a scalable model for future energy optimization initiatives across the Group.
