Electromin has partnered with Masar to develop and operate the Masar Destination Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Makkah, marking the region’s first fully electric BRT network. This landmark project reflects Electromin’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and delivering sustainable, human-centric mobility solutions aligned with the Kingdom’s long-term vision.
Designed as a smart, future-ready transport system, the Masar Destination BRT integrates an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) with real-time tracking available through mobile applications and Google Maps. The network features air-conditioned bus stops for year-round passenger comfort and a fully electric fleet that significantly reduces CO₂ emissions while helping to ease traffic congestion.
