His Excellency is the current Chairman and CEO of ADG. Since 1984, he has had a career spanning
the public and private sector. He served for two four-year terms as Governor (with a rank of Minister) of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA). He was elected for two terms on the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and appointed by royal decree for two terms to the Makkah Regional Council.

He co-authored his first book, “Governpreneurship” in 2012, which explores world-wide examples of entrepreneurial practices in government. His second book “Omnipreneurship: An Organized a Approach to Living a Life of Meaning” was published in 2016.

His Excellency also serves on several international boards including: Cleveland Clinic’s International Leadership Board; Board of Trustees, The Eisenhower Fellowships; Distinguished Fellow, The Global Federation for Competitiveness Councils (GFCC). He holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from University of New Haven in Business Administration. His Excellency has also been the recipient of the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (or Star of Excellence) given by the President of Pakistan and the recipient of the French Legion of Honour with the degree of Chevalier.

Mr. Paul Polman is Co-founder and Co-chair of IMAGINE and his book, ‘Net Positive: how courageous companies thrive by giving more than they take’, was released in October 2021. A leading proponent that business should be a force for good, Paul has been described by the Financial Times as “a standout CEO of the past decade”. As CEO of Unilever (2009-2019), he demonstrated that a long-term, multi-stakeholder model goes hand-in-hand with excellent financial performance. Paul was a member of the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel which developed the Sustainable Development Goals and as an active SDG Advocate he continues to work with global organizations and across industry to push the 2030 development agenda. He is Chair of the B Team and Saïd Business School, Vice-Chair of the UN Global Compact and Honorary Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Wendy Lane has been the Chairman of Lane Holdings, Inc., a private equity investment company since 1992 after she retired from Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette as a Principal and Managing Director in investment banking. Before that, she was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs & Co. Ms. Lane was a founding investor of Staples and Skyhook and was an investor in the original leveraged buyout of 7 Up.

Upon leaving DLJ, Ms. Lane also began sitting on corporate boards and has sat on the boards of eight public companies including Willis Towers Watson PLC, UPM–Kymmene Corp in Helsinki and MSCI in New York and sat on the board of Laboratory Corporation of American for 18 years. She was also a Trustee of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team Foundation for eight years.

Ms. Lane has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA, Phi Beta Kappa from Wellesley College in mathematics and French and has spoken at a number of governance, educational  and institutional venues, including Harvard Business School, Stanford Law School,  and the International Corporate Governance Network.

Mr. Jamal Al-Dabbagh is the Chairman of the Board of Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Company. He holds both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Business Administration. He has served as a Member of the Agricultural Committee in the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Al-Dabbagh, sits on the boards of many subsidiaries and affiliates of Al-Dabbagh Group, both listed and unlisted in Saudi Arabia.

Professor Alexander was a Scholar and Slade Exhibitioner at Christ Church, Oxford, where he graduated with Congratulatory Double First Class Honours. He was a Harkness Fellow, Ford Scholar, Loeb Rhodes Fellow, Baker Scholar and winner of the Wolfe award as top graduating student at Harvard Business School. After working at the Boston Consulting Group in the UK, US, Australia and Spain, he set up and subsequently sold his own business before moving back to an academic career. He is co-author of various books on Corporate Strategy and numerous articles, including three in the Harvard Business Review.

Professor Alexander is currently a member of the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Faculty at London Business School, an Associate Fellow of Oxford University, a Visiting Professor at Vlerick Business School, a Fellow of the Ashridge Strategic Management Centre and a Board member of two other companies.

Mr. Ozey Horton, Jr. is an independent advisor and Director Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, an international management consultancy from which he retired in 2011. Mr. Horton served as a Director at McKinsey – having joined the Firm in 1981 and principally working out of the Atlanta office. While at McKinsey, Mr. Horton led numerous corporate growth, strategic, mergers and acquisitions, and performance improvement initiatives at global clients across a range of industries – including basic materials, energy, transportation, and consumer. He also led several practices at McKinsey over the years: for example, as founder of the global pulp, paper, and packaging practice; co-leader of the global basic materials practice; and founder of the global operations practice within the Firm’s energy and materials sector. Prior to his service with McKinsey & Company, Mr. Horton had early career experiences in manufacturing (Cummins Engine), corporate development (Sonoco Products), and project engineering (J. E. Sirrine, Engineers & Architects). Mr. Horton has extensive experience working in Europe, South America, India, and Asia.

Mr. Horton currently serves as a Director of Worthington Industries (U.S.), Metso Corporation (Finland) and Louisiana-Pacific Corporation. As well, he serves as a faculty member in McKinsey & Company’s leadership development programs. He also has several pro bono board affiliations: as a member of the Board of the Spoleto Festival, U.S.A., the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Advisory Board, the Gaillard Performance Hall Campaign Cabinet, and the Liberty Fellows Senior Advisor Group. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Visitors at Duke University’s Pratt School of Engineering. Mr. Horton grew up in South Carolina. He has a B.S.E. in civil and environmental engineering from Duke University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Fairouz Al-Dabbagh serves as a SAP Solution consultant at Saudi Aramco and has over 10 years of experience in SAP Consultancy and Project Management.

She has also led corporate IT implementation projects from requirement analysis to testing and support, for both in-house developed projects and outsourced – in industries, such as Oil & Gas, Aviation & Pharmaceuticals.

Fairouz holds a master’s degree in Data Science from University of Southampton in 2019.

Mr. Mohamed Jazeel is the Chief Operating Officer of Al- Dabbagh Group. He is a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and counts nearly 30 years of experience in the fields of audit practice, financial management, corporate finance, M&A, IPO and general management.

Prior to joining Al-Dabbagh Group, he had a successful career at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1985 to 1992 serving at different positions. During his career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, he has worked in Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malawi.

Mr. Jazeel has undertaken executive education at Harvard Business School, Kellogg, Wharton, London Business School, Cranfield and IMD.

He also serves as a director of many subsidiaries and affiliates of Al-Dabbagh Group, both listed and unlisted in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.

Mr. Tariq Al-Abbadi is the Chief Legal Officer of Al-Dabbagh Group. He holds a an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Kent, Canterbury in the United Kingdom and an LLM and LLB from the University of Jordan. Mr. Al-Abbadi began his career at the International Business Legal Associates (IBLAW) in Amman, Jordan in 2000 before joining Baker Botts L.L.P in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as an associate in 2004. After two and a half years, he joined King & Spalding L.L.P. in 2006 and later moved to Dewey & LeBoeuf L.L.P. where he became a partner in their Saudi office. He joined Al-Dabbagh Group in 2011.

Mr. Al-Abbadi has extensive experience as a corporate, private equity and capital markets lawyer and has published widely in legal journals. He is a member of the Jordan Bar Association and is licensed to work as legal counsel in Saudi Arabia. Amongst various awards and recognitions, he has been cited as Outstanding Middle East Attorney in the Global Broker and Underwriter’s Legal Leaders, 2008, and nominated as a Legal Expert in the Banking and Finance and Corporate and M&A arenas in the Legal Experts-Europe, Middle East & Africa.

He has been a Board Member of Al-Dabbagh Group since 2011. He also serves as a director of many subsidiaries and affiliates of Al- Dabbagh Group, in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.

Mr. Dirk Vanderbroeck is the Chief Financial Officer of Al- Dabbagh Group. He is a strategic finance professional with over two decades of experience in senior finance leadership roles across corporate finance, treasury and mergers & acquisitions in banking and corporate environments.

Before joining Al-Dabbagh Group, Mr. Vanderbroeck was at Puma Energy, a company with revenue over USD$15 billion, as Group Treasurer and most recently as Group Head of Portfolio and member of the Executive Committee. Prior to Puma Energy, Mr. Vanderbroeck spent most of his career at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director in its Investment Banking Division. Before that he was at Royal Mail Group, where he co-lead its privatisation programme through a successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange, and a co-founder at Marylebone Energy Partners.

Mr. Vanderbroeck holds a master’s degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, and Executive Leadership Development Program from HEC in Paris.

Mr. Deya Al Dabbagh obtained his bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and his master’s degree in quantitative & computational finance from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Mr. Al Dabbagh has more than 12 years of experience in the field of banking & finance. His experience ranges from the field of investments & private equity. He worked with Carlyle Group & Swicorp in the field of commercial banking & project finance. He currently works at one of the largest commercial banks in Saudi Arabia.
