Red Sea Industrial Housing unit is a market leader in the design, manufacture and turnkey installation of industrial building solutions. It has a large client base that includes major oil & gas and mining companies. The company has successfully delivered projects in over 60 countries worldwide, housing hundreds of thousands of people since inception.
Red Sea Housing helps clients in remote areas in particular by guaranteeing quality, dependability and fast-track delivery of housing solutions for mission critical projects. To support its worldwide operation the company has a network of strategically located manufacturing facilities. These include a plant in Jebel Ali, Dubai, another in Jubail in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, a third plant in Accra, Ghana, in western Africa and a fourth in Libya, in North Africa.
The affordable housing unit was developed as a venture philanthropy initiative to serve the large global demand for affordable housing. The attractiveness of this segment is in its double bottom line effect, which results from the profit targets and the sustainable social and economic impact.
The building materials unit’s first company was launched as a joint venture between Red Sea Housing and Sherwin Williams Inc. – a global leader in the paint industry headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. The JV is on its way to become a leading paint and coating supplier in the MENA region.
Red Sea Housing’s 2020 goal is to become the global leader in industrial building solutions. It aims for a strong presence in global affordable housing, providing homes for 2 million people by 2020, and to become a leading player in building materials in the MENA region.
